CHJ ANNUAL PTA GENERAL ASSEMBLY 2026

Parents and guardians, together with the F.I. Sisters, teachers, staff, and school administrators, gathered for the Annual PTA General Assembly 2026 of Colegio de las Hijas de Jesus, Inc. on September 27 at the Big Conference Room. The assembly featured updates on PTA accomplishments and finances, as well as an open forum that gave parents and guardians an opportunity to raise questions and discuss matters concerning the school community.

Another highlight of the gathering was the recognition of the outgoing PTA Board and Officers for their service, followed by the election of Grade Level Representatives and the new PTA Board and Officers for School Year 2026–2027. The newly elected officers were formally proclaimed and took their oath of office, administered by Atty. Quennie Marie V. Solidum, marking the beginning of a new term of partnership and service.

PTA facilitates Easter Recollection
to Parents and Faculty

Colegio de las Hijas de Jesus, Inc., as a catholic academic institution, strives to build a Christian community of believers. It is for this reason that it conducts different spiritual formation activities for its students, parents and guardians, faculty and staff and maintenance personnel to deepen their personal relationship with Christ and develop a strong sense of commitment and active participation in its mission and sacraments. 

In support to this endeavor, the school, in collaboration with the CHJ-PTA and CHJ Alumni Association, conducted a virtual Easter recollection for the parents and faculty last April 30, 2022. 

The recollection was facilitated by Fr. John Klen Malificiar, SSP. It focused on God’s unconditional love for His people which reminded the attendees that despite being broken, everyone has a chance at redemption.

“I really appreciate the school’s effort of living out its mission as a school. Not only does it offer holistic education to the students but it also ensures its members’ professional and spiritual growth”, said Sir Nico N. Pormilda, an elementary librarian. He further added that he hopes to attend more of these activities in the future.

The said recollection was held virtually via Zoom meeting at 2:00 in the afternoon.
