Colegio de las Hijas de Jesus, Inc., as a catholic academic institution, strives to build a Christian community of believers. It is for this reason that it conducts different spiritual formation activities for its students, parents and guardians, faculty and staff and maintenance personnel to deepen their personal relationship with Christ and develop a strong sense of commitment and active participation in its mission and sacraments.
In support to this endeavor, the school, in collaboration with the CHJ-PTA and CHJ Alumni Association, conducted a virtual Easter recollection for the parents and faculty last April 30, 2022.
The recollection was facilitated by Fr. John Klen Malificiar, SSP. It focused on God’s unconditional love for His people which reminded the attendees that despite being broken, everyone has a chance at redemption.
“I really appreciate the school’s effort of living out its mission as a school. Not only does it offer holistic education to the students but it also ensures its members’ professional and spiritual growth”, said Sir Nico N. Pormilda, an elementary librarian. He further added that he hopes to attend more of these activities in the future.
The said recollection was held virtually via Zoom meeting at 2:00 in the afternoon.
